Coach Mike started wrestling when he was 6. He began his coaching career in 2009. Ever since then he has been actively trying to grow the sport through tournaments, camps and seminars. In 2023 he was interviewed for the book "Mat Return: The Resurgence of Amateur Wrestling in the U.S" a book recognizing those making significant impacts in their wrestling community.
